IPL is a truly global cricket league, players from all over the world come to play in the richest league in the world. Same can be said about the commentators, a lot of former players come to join the commentary team which in turn enriches the viewers’ watching experience while watching on TV. Former England captain, Michael Vaughan was also a part of the commentary team.

The former right-handed batsman was one of the most popular commentators. He had joined the commentary for the first two weeks only, and he is leaving after his short stint came to an end.
Michael Vaughan tweeted to thank Indian fans for their support and showering love over him in the two weeks period. He also said that he enjoyed working in the last two weeks but stated that it is time for him to go back to his country. He also thanked the broadcasters, Star Sports for inviting him to India for IPL.
He is leaving India with a promise to come back as he concluded his tweet by saying that he would be back in a few weeks.

A great career
Michael Vaughan had a very successful career for England, he made his Test debut in 1999 and played 82 Tests before retiring in 2008. The right-handed batsman captained his country in 51 Tests, he won 26 Tests which is a record for an England captain.
The right-handed batsman also played in 86 ODIs, and he retired from international cricket in 2008. Since then, he has been giving commentary in important series. He was an expert commentator in the 2017-18 Ashes while he worked as a guest commentator in this season of the Big Bash League.
Micheal Vaughan also joined the commentary panel of IPL and entertained fans before his tenure got over.His tweet suggested that he might come back for the playoffs this season.
