When Mahendra Singh Dhoni forayed into international cricket, his long golden coloured hair grabbed several eyeballs, so much so that even Pervez Musharraf, the then President of Pakistan, advised Dhoni to not change his hairstyle. However, gradually, he got rid of the long locks and has a different style statement now sporting short hair and trendy looks which change from time to time.
Recently, in an advertisement, he was back in his old avatar and his supporters went nostalgic. The fans of the enigmatic cricketer have another exciting news as MS Dhoni has got a new haircut for the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sapna Bhavnani, his hair-stylist revealed that on social media and clarified that it was not a Mohawk that Dhoni sported a few years back. This new hairdo is called Viking and she is sure he will lead like one.
It is pretty similar to Mohawk where the sides of the head are shaven. Sapna shared a photo of Dhoni on Tweeter with the message which read as “It’s not a Mohawk. It’s called the Viking! And like one, he will lead. #dhoni @msdhoni #WhistlePodu #roar @madOwothair,”

The Jharkhand-born cricketer has been a colossus personality in the T20 league. He has previously led CSK to the top four each time ever since the inception of the tournament in 2008. The franchise didn’t play the previous couple of seasons, but they have made a strong statement in this edition thus far. MS Dhoni, himself, has been in prime form and has led the team from the front with some sterling performances.
