Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have been facing all sorts of issues ever since the Indian Premier League (IPL) has begun its journey in its 11th edition. Their key players have got injured and even they have now forced to let go their fortress Chepauk as a venue for this season courtesy Cauvery Row in the city. Though the players have stayed motivated and want to stay connected with the fans in some or the other way. In a similar attempt, Ravindra Jadeja has sported a new look for this season and interestingly has dedicated it to the die-hard fans of CSK.
The left-handed all-rounder is known to be a freak and always sports a new look every season either changing his hairstyles or beard style. Moreover, this has been the trend in the Indian team itself with the likes of Hardik Pandya and the skipper Virat Kohli himself leading the way. Jadeja, however, was trolled for his hilarious look last year when he featured for the now defunct franchise Gujarat Lions. He is excited to be back in the Yellow jersey again and certainly, there is emotion connected to it.
Jadeja’s new look
Ravindra Jadeja smashed a match-winning six for his team when they needed 4 runs off last two deliveries during the game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). It was their first victory at home ground after 1065 days as the fans went berserk soon after hitting the winning shot. The cricketer, on Wednesday, took to Twitter and posted his new look and captioned it with a special message for CSK fans who have been hard done by the fact that all the matches have been shifted out of Chennai.
“Kya Kamaal look hain, Gabru Gabbar. Six ho ya style, taking this season to a #Newlevel. This is for all #csk fans #BreaktheBeard #newlook #rajputboy #whistlepodu,” he captioned the video of his new look.
CSK will face Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in their next game on April 15 in Mohali.
