IPL 2018: Shreyas Iyer has the funniest nickname for Junior Dala

The Indian Premier League (IPL) provides an opportunity to the budding cricketers in the country to rub the shoulders with some of the best cricketers in the world.  While it helps them in resurrecting their technical issues, the two-month association means the players gel together so well. They have a lot of fun together as team activities also take place during the free time away from cricket. Recently, Junior Dala was added to the Delhi Daredevils squad and it seems that he is already the trending guy in the team as Shreyas Iyer has the funniest nickname for him.

Delhi has gone through the tough times in the ongoing season with their captain Gautam Gambhir stepping down from captaincy. While his form with the bat was not great, his decision to step down would’ve changed the dressing room environment as well. But it seems that the team is closely knit together in tough times as well as they could be seen having a lot of fun.

DD managed to win the last-ball thriller against Rajasthan Royals (RR) last night and no doubt the mood in the camp is upbeat. It was a much-needed victory for them which has elated the team members as well who had some fun while travelling in the team bus. The skipper Shreyas Iyer was leading from the front here as well as he targetted Junior Dala, the newest member of the squad by calling him Ninja Turtle hilariously in his latest Instagram story. He recorded the video of the South African busy watching in his mobile and tagged him in his story.

Despite recent losses, the team seems to have gelled well together which is the most important in such long tournaments. As far as their chances in the IPL are concerned, Delhi needs to win all their remaining matches to qualify for the playoffs.
