Two cricketers who have played International cricket and are proven talents, yet got no real appreciation at RCB are Washington Sundar and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-shimron-hetmyer-and-heinrich-klaasen-are-all-set-for-rcbs-fixture-against-delhi-capitals/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shimron Hetmyer</a>. While Hetmyer has himself to blame, Sundar remaining out of the XI for so long made very little sense, especially after seeing his stupendous track record.
The West Indian on the other side showed great skill and could be one of the star batsmen in the future for RCB. The management needs to place their trust in the youngster and continue with him for another couple of seasons to see if he grows. Some other players Tim Southee, Heinrich Klaasen and Colin de Grandhomme might not find themselves a place in the squad and should go back into the auction. They will have to take some harsh calls to accommodate some money for the fast bowlers and as it stands, one cannot predict who will they oust from the squad for that purpose.
They might send some players like Akshdeep Nath, Marcus Stoinis, Prayas Barman, etc. to the auction as well just to see if they can get them back for a cheaper price. It won&#8217;t be easy for the management to make these decisions, but for the betterment of the team, they will have to do something to try and change their fate.
