Former Australian skipper Steve Smith is finally back amongst the runs. The injury of Sanju Samson turned out to be a blessing in disguise for him as he batted at number three in both the games this week. Initially, he had heavy strapping on his elbow and thus wasn’t able to generate the power in his shots. In the game against RCB, he scored 38 off 31 balls. He played without the strapping against KKR and was the best batsman for his team. Smith was unbeaten on 73 off 59 balls in that match.
