The 33rd match of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) will see a rematch of last season’s final with free-falling Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) taking on defending champions Chennai Super Kings. The last time these two teams had met, CSK had beaten their Hyderabad-counterpart to lift the IPL title last year. But unlike last year, not both the teams are in good form at the moment. While table-toppers CSK are flying high with seven wins from eight games, SRH are languishing at the sixth spot in the table after losing 3 three games in a row.

Chennai Super Kings are entering the contest on the back of a thumping five-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens. Imran Tahir and Suresh Raina starred with the ball and bat respectively to extend Super Kings’ winning run this season. On a pitch where the batsmen have made merry this season, Tahir made his presence felt by picking up 4 for just 27 which helped the Super Kings restrict the Knight Riders to 161. Raina then roared back to form and scored an unbeaten fifty to power the team to a 5-wicket win.

The Sunrisers, on the other hand, lost their third game in a row with a 39-run defeat at the hands of Delhi Capitals (DC). One of the most consistent teams in the last three years, the Sunrisers are struggling hard to regain their old form. Against Delhi, they were comfortably placed at 101 for 2 while chasing 156. However, an inexplicable collapse saw them lose their remaining 8 wickets for just 15 runs as they got bundled up for just 116.

While SRH will be desperate to get back to form, they won’t find it easy against a side which has looked almost unstoppable at the moment. The Kane Williamson-led side will have to play out of their skin to get the better of the Super Kings.

How will be the weather:

As far as weather is concerned, there is no reason to get worried. According to AccuWeather, there is no prediction of rain. The temperature will be around 31-degree Celsius during the start of the game and will gradually decrease to 20s as the game progresses. The cloud cover will also be negligible while the humidity will hover between 32-40%.
