Will it rain in Jaipur?

Revenge will be on Mumbai Indians‘ (MI) mind when they take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday. When these two teams had last met this season, Royals had stunned Mumbai by five wickets. A Jos Buttler-masterclass had helped them chase down 188 and register just their second win of the season. But while the Royals will be taking confidence from that win, the momentum is firmly in the visitors’ favour.
Both MI and RR are completely on the opposite side of the spectrum in the points table. With 6 wins from nine games, the former are second in the points table. The Royals, on the other hand, are languishing at the second from the bottom spot with just two wins in eight games. Both the teams are also entering this game on the back of contrasting results. While MI got back to winning ways with an impressive 40-run win over Delhi Capitals, the Royals lost to Kings XI Punjab by 12 runs.
Another win will take MI very close to a playoffs spot while a defeat for Royals would all but end their hopes of progressing ahead. Royals will have to come up with their best possible effort to beat Mumbai who seems to have hit the top gear. With so much at stake during the game, one can expect another thrilling game between the two teams in Jaipur.
