The Royal Challengers Bangalore held their nerves against the Kolkata Knight Riders to sneak through a 10-run win in a high-scoring thriller. The Virat Kohli-led team is already in a position that they have to win all the remaining matches as they lost each of their first six matches. They will now face off against the Chennai Super Kings who have often troubled RCB in the IPL. MS Dhoni of CSK and AB de Villiers of RCB are expected to return for this game after missing the previous match of their respective teams.

334Ambati Rayudu has scored the most number of runs in the IPL against the Royal Challengers at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Rayudu amassed 334 runs across seven innings in Bangalore against the home team. He averages 66.8 and scored three fifties including an 82 in the previous season.


710 – MS Dhoni is the only player to score 700+ runs in the IPL against the Royal Challengers. Dhoni has scored 710 runs against them from 24 innings at an average of 37.36 with three fifties. Suresh Raina is 4th on this list with 661 runs from 26 innings at an average of 31.47 having accomplished four fifties.


738Virat Kohli has 738 runs in the IPL against the Chennai Super Kings which is the most by any player. No other player has even scored 650 runs in the IPL against CSK. Kohli’s 738 runs have come across 22 innings at an average of 38.84 with help of six fifties.
