They will be up against their happy hunting team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, twice in their last three matches. KKR have suffered a downfall after winning four of their first five matches. They are currently on a six-match losing streak that includes four defeats at their fortress, the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

4 – The Knight Riders have lost each of their last four matches at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. They never lost more than two in a succession before this season. Their ongoing 6-match losing streak is also their 2nd worst ever. They lost eight in a row during the 2009 edition held in South Africa.
7 – Number of times the Knight Riders have been defeated by the Mumbai Indians at the Eden Gardens; the most by any team. He scored 757 runs across 23 innings at an average of 44.52 against KKR with his only IPL century and four half-centuries.
