IPL 2019: Three teams that can pick Gautam Gambhir in the auction

The Orange Army has mostly thrived on their incredible bowling strength over the last few seasons and the same tactic has also fetched them a significant amount of success in the T20 extravaganza. Their batting has also been pretty decent as well, but mostly at the top of the order where the likes of stalwarts like David Warner, Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan have plied their trade.

However, Dhawan has left to play for the Daredevils in the upcoming season, which also means that a massive void has been created in the Sunrisers’ top order with the departure of the left-hander. Hence, even they can bid for Gambhir in the auction. He isn’t a spring chicken anymore but still has the ability to turn out as an indispensable member of whichever team he goes on to represent in the future.
