Sanju Samson debuted in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals in 2013, who was just 18 years old was the youngest player to hit a half-century in IPL. He is an exciting young prospect who could bat aggressively and is also an athletic keeper.

He has not played for the Royals only in those two years when the team was banned. He came back to their squad in 2018 when the team was included again. He has played a total of 121 matches and has an average of 29.21 with a striking rate of 134.20.

Samson was recently named as their captain and became the first skipper to score a century in his first match of captaincy. He has never been consistent with his bat but the responsibility of captaincy has made him score his highest runs of 484 in a season. So considering his age and ability, he could continue for the team as a core player for many more years.
