KXIP’s biggest strength is their powerful batting order. If they try to strengthen it more, they can play both Gayle and Maxwell in the line-up. With this, they can play six dominant batsmen in their line-up and which will include three overseas players.

However, the key for this combination is playing five genuine bowlers in their Playing XI. This will make their batting a bit thin, but with six of their best batsmen and five of their best bowler, KXIP will play their best eleven on the field.

Also, KL Rahul needs to show more confidence in their young bowlers. In the last game, he brought in Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh in 8th and 10th over respectively and they eventually turned out to be KXIP’s most successful bowlers. If they are playing only five bowlers, the skipper should have confidence in them to bowl their four overs.
