After a good start to IPL 13 with a win over Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings suffered their first defeat against Rajasthan Royals as their bowling was taken apart by a rampaging Sanju Samson. Despite being set target of 217, CSK did a good job of reaching 200 in the absence of a very important player, Ambati Rayudu.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, got out of jail against Kings Xi Punjab. They somehow managed to defend one of three balls and then snatch victory in the super over. They have been touted as one of the favorites this season by critics and fans.

While their victory wasn’t comprehensive, it is important to remember their star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was injured midgame and couldn’t complete his quota of overs. Both these teams have a plethora of stars.

Here are 3 players you should, without a doubt, have in your Dream11 team for CSK vs DC: –

1. Faf du Plessis (9 credits)

The star performer for Chennai Super Kings this season up till now has, undoubtedly, been Faf du Plessis who has taken a liking to the pitches of the UAE. While he scored a match winning 54* against Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi in the season opener, his brilliant effort of 72 off just 37 balls against Rajasthan at Sharjah went in vain. As CSK now come to Dubai, Faf will once again look to step up on, take responsibility and score big especially since their other star batsman, Rayudu will once again be unavailable for this game.

2. Shreyas Iyer (9.5 credits)

The Delhi Capitals’ skipper looked in good nick last time and scored 39 off 32 balls with a few lusty blows. He is a batsman who perfectly mixes caution with aggression and captaincy has made him assume even more responsibility as a batsman. He usually tends to score big once he gets set. Iyer will also know, since he bats between two left handers Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer, the opposition is likely to avoid bowling leg-spinners, when either of them is as the crease and that will be an added-benefit for Iyer.

3. Kagiso Rabada (9 credits)

Kagiso Rabada showed no signs of rustiness in the last game as he bowled superbly right through the match, first picking up 2 for 28 and then showing his class in the super over single-handedly, wrecking KXIP. He didn’t let them score more than two runs helping Delhi to an easy victory. Rabada is a world-class bowler and while he bowles well upfront too, he will specially provide you valuable points at the death where batsmen swing recklessly and Rabada has the pace to get the better of them.
