Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, two teams who have consistently done poorly over the years, have had a fantastic start to this season. With 3 wins in 4 games, both teams have had plenty to cheer about.

RCB, who have finished last in 2 of the last 3 seasons, look like a more complete side. Devdutt Padikkal has been sensational for them. With Navdeep Saini taking responsibility, RCB seem to build a good core of Indian players. They will, however, be concerned about their untested middle order. They would also want their biggest buy in the auction, Chris Morris, to recover from his niggle and add more balance to the team.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, seem to be playing with their best Playing XI. They have most bases sorted and different players have stood up and taken responsibility in different games. While their bowling has been exceptional, we have also seen some extraordinary batting displays.

Despite looking good, there are a couple of players that Delhi will be disappointed with. With both teams having a number of in-form players, to make your life easier, here are 3 names you exclude from your Dream11 team.

Here are 3 players who could be excluded from your Dream11 Fantasy team for RCB vs DC game:

1. Aaron Finch (9 credits)

While Aaron Finch has had a decent season, he hasn’t fired to his potential. Finch has scored 109 runs in 4 innings with one 50, and a low strike rate of 121.

While he has hit a few good shots in all his innings, he doesn’t seem to be hitting the ball as sweetly as he is known to. Also, it is important to keep in mind, this game has several batsmen who are in scintillating form. Hence, with regards to the relative performance and form of Finch, it will be better to keep him out.

2. Shikhar Dhawan (10 credits)

Shikhar Dhawan’s performance for Delhi has been a replica of Finch’s for RCB. Dhawan has looked to be in decent form but has managed just 95 runs in 4 innings. Despite playing some good strokes, he hasn’t looked to be in his fluent best and has given away his wicket a couple of times after getting starts.

Applying the same logic to Dhawan as we did for Finch; due to the presence of several batsmen in this game, who are either in a better form or have runs under the belt, Dhawan can be kept out.

3. Adam Zampa (8.5 credits)

Adam Zampa has flattered to deceive in this year’s IPL. While he has played only 2 games, he hasn’t got much from the pitch and has been very easy for batsmen to hit. He has picked up a solitary wicket in 2 games and has gone at an economy of 11.42. With a number of left-handed batsmen in Delhi’s Playing XI, he may be rendered even more ineffective. Hence, it would be advisable to leave out Zampa for this game.
