Royal Challengers Bangalore will be up against Delhi Capitals as both teams look to seal the playoff spot. After a great start, RCB have faltered in the last few games. They finally dropped Aaron Finch, opting for youngster Joshua Philippe. They have been constantly chopping and changing in the last couple of games, and haven’t been able to put up a proper team performance.

They will look to avoid any unnecessary changes, back their eleven, and get the Q next to their name. Delhi Capitals have followed a similar trajectory. They started the IPL with a bang but seem to have really lost their way. While none of the batsmen seems to be in decent form. their bowling, which was their stronger suit, seems to be slightly jaded, with Kagiso Rabada failing to pick a single wicket in the last two games.

They will have to get their act together, play an aggressive brand of cricket to put RCB on the backfoot early on and then capitalise. They will be very disappointed if they don’t end up qualifying from here.

Here are 3 players you can exclude from your Dream11 team for DC vs RCB:

1. Prithvi Shaw (8.5 credits)

Prithvi Shaw has had a tumultuous couple of weeks. After getting off to a good start in this year’s IPL, Shaw completely lost form and has regularly been found throwing his wicket away. He was then dropped for a couple of games as well. He made his comeback against MI in the last game but was again dismissed for 15 odd runs, once again throwing his wicket away.

He has been bounced out by quality pacers in most of the games and with quality pace in the opposition, Shaw could find himself struggling once again. It is too big a risk to pick Shaw, and hence you can exclude him.

2. Marcus Stoinis (9 credits)

Similar to Prithvi, Stoinis got off to a great start to the season, scoring two match winnings 50s, but seems to have fallen off the radar in the last few games. The constant shuffling around in his batting position hasn’t helped him much either.

Stoinis has an average of 12.7 and SR of just 108.5 against right-arm pace in the IPL. Chris Morris is pretty much sure to trouble him. With Stoinis being severely out of form, and odds stacked against him, he can be left out.

3. Navdeep Saini (8 credits)

Navdeep Saini is a quality bowler and has bowled with a lot of heart in this year’s IPL. However, one problem has lingered on- Saini has not been able to pick wickets. Despite bowling fast, Saini has just six wickets to his name this season.

While keeping the batsmen tied down and creating pressure is important for the team, from a fantasy point of view, Saini doesn’t bring in too many points.

With Washington Sundar taking over powerplay bowling, Saini’s chances of inducing a false shot from the batsman to clear the field have also been minimised. Due to these reasons, Saini can be excluded from your eleven.
