IPL 2020: 3 players you can exclude from your Dream11 team for the RCB vs KKR game

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders, two teams who have done considerably well this season, will battle it out to gain an upper hand in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL).

RCB have looked in good form this season. They have put aside last year’s horror and won four out of six games this year. They have been doing well in all departments but will want more from their middle-order. They will also want someone like Aaron Finch to come back to form. They seem a well-oiled unit, but will have to be wary of the dangerous KKR.

KKR got out of jail in the last two games, and will definitely be high on confidence. Their batting seems to be clicking well, but will want their bowling to fire collectively as well. They conceded more than 200 in the first game they played at Sharjah and will hope for a better performance in that aspect.

These are three players you can exclude from your Dream 11 team for RCB vs KKR game:

1. Dinesh Karthik (8.5 credits)

Dinesh Karthik got back his form in the last game, scoring a match winning half-century. Hence, excluding him may seem absurd. However, in Sharjah, he is unlikely to get too much batting.

With the likes of Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell in the team, they are likely to get promoted ahead of DK. This exclusion, hence, is not due to cricketing reasons, but only fantasy cricket.

2. Sunil Narine (9 credits)

Sunil Narine hasn’t been at his best in the tournament with bat or ball. With the bat he has been able to score just 44 runs in the whole IPL. He has been throughly exposed by quality pace bowling in the tournament. With the ball, he hasn’t been the wicket-taker he is known to be.

He has picked up just five wickets and hasn’t been penetrative at all. With him being demoted in the batting order and Sharjah not being a conducive ground for spin bowling, Narine can be excluded.

3.Navdeep Saini (8.5 credits)

Navdeep Saini has bowled with good pace but hasn’t been able to pick wickets this season. Picking three wickets in six games doesn’t speak too highly of his performance. Troubling the batsmen isn’t enough.

It’s important to pick wickets as well. And wickets are what bring points in fantasy as well. Also, Sharjah isn’t the kindest stadium for bowlers, especially the ones like Saini who can tend to be erratic. Hence, Saini can be excluded from your team.
