Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals will battle it out at Sharjah and look to add two points to their respective points tally. The Capitals will be pleased with the way their campaign has progressed. In form batsmen, fiery pace battery and effective spinners. They have everything going well for them and they will look to carry on the momentum and get their 5th win on the board.

Rajasthan on the other hand have more than just a few concerns to look into. They seem to have lost their way after the first two wins. Their bowling seems to be ineffective as a unit, and their batting order seems to be unsettled as well.

They have been missing their star player, Ben Stokes, quite sorely and would hope his return sparks a change in their fortune. But till the time he doesn’t return, they will have to bank on their existing players to have a good match.

In the RR vs DC match, for you have to a good game in Fantasy cricket, here are three players you can look to exclude:

1. Shikhar Dhawan (9.5 credits)

Shikhar Dhawan hasn’t had too bad a tournament. He has scored 127 runs in five games. But his strike rate of 122 is concerning, especially for this game. In such a small ground like Sharjah, you would want batsmen to get going from the word go, and Dhawan hasn’t managed to do that.

This game has atleast four-five top notch, aggressive batsmen who have recently done well in Sharjah. Hence, to accommodate those batsmen, we will have to leave Shikhar out.

2. Marcus Stoinis (9 credits)

This might come as a surprise for many. Stoinis has been one of the primary reasons why Delhi have done so well. However, we have to understand the dynamics in this game. Delhi will have atleast four batsmen who will come in before Stoinis.

And in the kind of form they are in, coupled with the fact that Rajasthan’s bowling has been underwhelming, it is a very high possibility that those four batsmen end up playing  majority of the overs. Due to this, Stoinis may not even get an opportunity to bat. Hence, despite Stoinis’ heroics with the bat, it would be better to keep him out for this game.

3. Rahul Tewatia (8.5 credits)

Rahul Tewatia was the star for Rajasthan the last time they played in Sharjah. Although it was an unbelievably good performance, we can safely bracket it as a freakish day for him. Since then, he hasn’t been able to do much with the ball or bat.

A lot of people are going to take him in their team just because of his last performance here. But this Delhi team is way more superior to Punjab, and have a number of outstanding bowlers in their ranks who can dismiss Tewatia.

Add to that, not only do Delhi have a number of left handers, which would make his legspin ineffective, but their skipper, Iyer, also loves playing spin bowling. Hence, it would be a safe option to keep Tewatia out from your team.
