Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad will battle it out in what is set to be a riveting contest. CSK have been quite out of form this year. Nothing seems to be clicking for them. They have lacked firepower in their batting and intent in their bowling. They haven’t fired as a unit since their first game against MI.

They look down and out and with most players out of form, it will be quite a task for them to get past a more balanced SRH. The Sunrisers have done well, but would have liked to have been better placed. With six points in seven games, this game becomes extremely important for them.

They have a few things going for them, but the thrashing their bowlers got at the death in the last game would be a cause of worry. They would also look to use Kane Williamson a lot more than they currently are.

For you to succeed in Fantasy cricket, here are three players you can exclude from your Dream11 team for SRH vs CSK:

1. MS Dhoni (9.5 credits)

MS Dhoni has had a very indifferent IPL. He has managed just 112 runs in seven games. He has not been hitting the ball like he was in the the last few seasons. He has a terrible record against SRH’s strike bowler, Rashid Khan, having scored just 23 runs in 32 balls against him. He hasn’t been in any kind of rhythm and with SRH having the bowling to stifle him, it will be better to leave Dhoni out.

2. Ravindra Jadeja (9 credits)

One of the biggest disappointments for CSK this year has been Ravindra Jadeja. While he has managed 101 runs with the bat, most of them came after the match slipped out of CSK’s grasp. The southpaw has been even more disappointing with the ball. Dhoni hasn’t shown much confidence in him either, and he has picked up just three wickets.

He has lacked penetration, and with someone like David Warner in the opposition, Dhoni might be even more hesitant to use him. With not much value being seen in Jadeja for this game, it would be better to leave him out.

3. Vijay Shankar (8 credits)

An all-rounder with a credit requirement of just eight may seem a very attractive option. However, it is important for that player to be able to provide some value as well, and one can’t take the player just for the sake of it. Shankar has returned after a prolonged break, and is likely to be rusty.

On top of that, his bowling isn’t intimidating at all, and could be fodder for the hard-hitting opening pair of CSK. In the last game, he didn’t get a chance to bat despite SRH losing four wickets. Even in the next game, it is unlikely for him to get much of an opportunity with the bat. Hence, keeping all of this in mind, it would be better to exclude Shankar.
