Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals will battle it out in this fascinating contest. Delhi has dominated this year’s IPL. They have played some exhilarating cricket and rightly are at the second place in the points table at the moment. They emerged victorious against Rajasthan when the two teams met earlier in the tournament that will be at the back of their mind. They lost their last game against MI, but have been doing well as a unit and will look to put in a commanding performance once again.
Rajasthan Royals have had a roller-coaster tournament. They won their first two games, before losing 4 in a row. They got back on track with a come from behind victory in the last game and will look to bank on that momentum. The return of Ben Stokes makes them a more formidable and balanced unit.
Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag’s outstanding performance in the last game will give them a lot of confidence and they will believe if they have a good day, they can get the better of DC.
For you to get the better of others in DC vs RR, here are 3 players you can use as multiplier for your Dream11 team:
1. Kagiso Rabada (9.5 credits)
Kagiso Rabada has been in phenomenal form. He has picked up at least a wicket in every game he has played this year, and his tally stands at 17 wickets in 7 games. He comfortably stands at the top of the wicket-taker’s list. In the first game between Rajasthan and Delhi, Rabada performed exceedingly well, picking up 3 wickets. He has bowled with a lot of purpose, always looking for wickets and he should have a good game once again.
2. Jos Buttler (10 credits)
Jos Buttler has looked in good touch this season, but hasn’t been able to have the impact he would have liked. He has scored 146 runs in 6 games, but apart from a 70 against MI, he hasn’t had any big score. His strike rate of 146 indicates his hitting form. Buttler is the best choice for wicket-keeper in this game, and with a lot at stake, we can expect him to score a big innings.
3. Shreyas Iyer (9.5 credits)
Shreyas Iyer has had a decent IPL. He has scored 245 runs in 7 games, but has scored just one fifty. He scored a fantastic 88* but apart from that has scored just 20s and 30s. He is yet to play to his potential and this could be the game he scores a big one. In the absence of Rishabh Pant, Iyer will assume more responsibility and even if he doesn’t play aggressively, he is most likely going to bat deep and accumulate a lot of runs.
