Arguably the greatest festival of Indian cricket, Indian Premier League is finally here. The first game is between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians and Dream11 is back with its fantasy league.
Its time to use your cricket intelligence power and pick the best team possible. But like the old saying, the higher the risk is involved, the more profit is there.
Here we are with 3 high-risk players who can help you in earning extra for the first match of IPL 2020:
1. Rohit Sharma (10.5 credits)
Rohit Sharma is heeded as one of the most dangerous and dominant T20 players in the world. The Mumbai Indians’ skipper is usually an egregious choice for your fantasy team but things are different this time. The Mumbai lad will be playing after 7 months break and he will be coming back after a serious calf injury.
However, going with his reputation, Rohit is still the most expensive player of today’s game and picking him pertains to great risk. But this risk can be game-changing as if the ‘Hitman‘ settles in well, he can win the game on his own and can win you a lot of points in the process. Also, Rohit Sharma’s ability to hit sixes at will gives your team an added advantage of earing more than any non-aggressive player.
2. Kedar Jadhav (8.5 credits)
Kedar Jadhav can turn out to be the dark horse of CSK’s line up. With Suresh Raina’s decision to pull out from the tournament, the Maharashtrian lad has an excellent opportunity on his plate. He will be batting at 4 or 5 and will be used as an off-spinner as well. With several left-handers in Mumbai Indians’ line up, he can come out handy.
However, with a lot to offer, Jadhav is highly inconsistent as well in his game. He averaged 18 with the bat for CSK last year and his bowling has left his captain in the lurch more often than not. However, as Kedar is not that expensive, having him in your side is a lucrative option as he can turn out to be a cash cow in your fantasy team.
3. Krunal Pandya (8.5 credits)
Krunal Pandya, the wonder boy of Mumbai Indians. He had been a consistent performer for the Mumbai franchise and has played important role in their success. The southpaw has an excellent ability to perform from both bat and ball consistently, but how is he going to perform in the UAE is a question.
He bats lower down the order and sometimes doesn’t complete his quota of 4 overs. However, if he is sent up the order, he can be very lethal for the opposition team as there no regular off-spinner in CSK’s line up. Also as CSK’s top order has only right-handers, his left arm off-spin can come quite handy. Picking Krunal is a risk but involves higher returns as well and he can turn to be the player with maximum points in your line-up.
