Their best options: Sunil Narine and Prasidh Krishna

After making some much-needed changes to their squad in the concluded IPL auction, the Kolkata-based franchise are looking as one of the ominous squads in the tournament. With Dinesh Karthik leading them, KKR are looking forward to adding their third trophy to their cabinet.

Sunil Narine will be the first choice to bowl a Super Over for KKR if they get to play one. He is the first bowler in the world to bowl a maiden in the one-over eliminator, the feat he achieved while playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) back in 2014. With his magical variations and terrific wicket taking skills, he has been a crucial block in the KKR’s bowling setup in the IPL.

Prasidh Krishna is also a contender to bowl the Super Over for KKR. Last year, when the Knights played a Super Over against Delhi Capitals in the league stage, the skipper handed the ball to Krishna, who did a reasonable job by conceding only 10 runs bowling to Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw. He also picked the DC’s skipper wicket. KKR can also consider Pat Cummins and Kuldeep Yadav to bowl the over if needed.
