Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday, November 3, became the fourth and final team to qualify for the playoffs in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL). The Orange Army put their best foot forward and decimated the Mumbai Indians (MI) by 10 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
David Warner and Co would now be facing the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Eliminator on November 6. After winning the toss and electing to field, SRH restricted Rohit Sharma and Co to an under-par 149 for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
In their run-chase, there was no stopping their openers- David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha– who put on an unbeaten stand of 151 runs off only 17.1 overs. With SRH’s win, Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) campaign in the T20 tournament came to an end.
