IPL 2020: RCB skipper Virat Kohli fist pumps after hitting his first boundary in the 19th over; Twitter trolls him

It was all about AB de Villiers in Sharjah on Monday during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL. While he was smothering the ball at will on his way to an unbeaten 73 off 33 deliveries, the RCB skipper Virat Kohli was just rotating the strike and to be fair, wasn’t middling the ball as he would’ve liked to.

Rather it took him 25 balls to hit his first four of the day and it came in the 19th over of the innings. Prasidh Krishna charged in and delivered a wide fuller length delivery even as Virat Kohli threw his bat at it. The ball took the edge of the bat and raced to a four through the third-man region.

Kohli was delighted to finally hit a four albeit, with an edge, and was thrilled to bits. He celebrated his boundary through a fist pump and was as usual pumped up in the middle after watching De Villiers hit the KKR bowlers out of the park. He ended the innings with the only boundary and remained unbeaten on 33 off 28 balls after coming in to bat in the 8th over of the innings.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was trolled hilariously for his reaction after hitting the four. Twitter was surprised to see him celebrate the moment as he was extremely slow compared to his partner and hadn’t middled many balls during his stay until then. Nevertheless, he dropped anchor and made sure that De Villiers gets the strike as he was hitting the ball well.
