The 26th match of the Indian Premier League saw action between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals. RR had to make things respectable for them in the on-going season by getting two valuable points, and they remained successful in their intentions.

Chasing the target of 158 at Dubai International Stadium, Rajasthan grabbed a stylish victory by five wickets. The team wasn’t turning on the victory way till long, but it all changed with brilliant knocks by Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag towards the end.

The heroics by Tewatia (45 off 28) and Parag (42 off 26) turned the course of the game completely towards the end. However, what stole the limelight were young Parag’s peculiar dance moves after he hit the winning six. He took off his helmet and gave a glimpse of beautiful Bihu dance. The traditional dance form is famous from the state of Assam, and Parag belongs to the same state.

Here is the video of Riyan Parag’s dance:

RR register a much-needed victory at Dubai

Talking of the game, SRH won the toss and decided to show up with the bat first. Batting first, they were able to post a decent 158 on the board on the back of innings by David Warner (48 off 38) and Manish Pandey (54 off 44).

The cameo of 22 runs by Kane Williamson remained essential in turning the team’s score towards a decent spot. Jofra Archer remained effective from Rajasthan’s bowling unit as he conceded just 25 runs and knocked down David Warner.

Chasing the target, the opening order of Rajasthan collapsed entirely as Khaleel Ahmed stunned batters with his pace attack. The game very much looked in SRH’s favour until the heroics by Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag began. Sanju Samson played a crucial knock of 26 runs from RR’s batting set up. Rashid Khan remained effective with the ball and conceded 25 runs in his span of four overs. He scalped two wickets too.

However, Rashid Khan’s one over turned costly as Tewatia smashed him for three straight fours. Young Parag finished things in style with a thunderous six. Rajasthan Royals have now gathered three victories in their seven outings so far. RR will now play against Delhi Capitals in their next face-off.
