Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore to enter Qualifier 2 and will now be taking on Delhi Capitals. One of these two teams will enter the final as a result of this encounter and face Chennai Super Kings. Nevertheless, it is a good moment for the fans to pick up fantasy points.

Here are three players to avoid in fantasy teams for the DC vs KKR game:

1. Shreyas Iyer

The right-handed batter has been struggling to get some runs in the last few matches. He came into this leg on the back of an injury, which had forced him out of the first leg in India. Having said that, in the last three matches, he has scored only 21 runs in total. On top of that, despite being a good player of spin-bowling, Iyer has struggled against bowlers like Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy in the past.

On a wicket that has been helpful to spinners, we might see Iyer take a bit more time in getting the scoreboard going. Given the options in this contest, it won’t be a bad suggestion to avoid the batter in this category.

2. Kagiso Rabada

The South African pacer has been one of the more successful players for the Delhi franchise. However, he isn’t having the best season of his life. In the last four matches, he has failed to pick a single wicket and has also struggled a bit with his line and lengths. This also saw his skipper Rishabh Pant giving crucial death overs to other bowlers than him. Given the current situation, it doesn’t seem that this game will uplift his game. He hasn’t bowled terribly but batters have learned how to adjust to Rabada’s bowling and not give him wickets.

3. Shakib Al Hasan

In the absence of Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan has quite comfortably become the fifth bowler and a handy lower-order batter. While Shakib is capable of batting up in the order, he has been given a spot down the order to do a specific job. With the ball as well, he isn’t someone who will be picking up heaps of wickets but he has been bowling tight lines and restricting scoring by the batters which then can put them under pressure.

While his contributions are quite important for his team, he might not produce a lot of fantasy points, which is what fans generally want from their players. Hence, it is better to pick any other player in his place.
