Kolkata Knight Riders will be playing their last league game of the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League against Rajasthan Royals. The two teams have previously faced each other and Rajasthan had won that clash in the first leg. With lots to play for, fans get a good opportunity to earn some fantasy points.

Here are 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams in KKR vs RR game:

1. Dinesh Karthik

Over the years, Dinesh Karthik’s role in white-ball cricket has changed. Nowadays, he seems to only come out to bat towards the latter half of the innings. He has been tasked to finish the game and play as someone who can score quickly in the death overs. This is no secret. Now, what that does is reduces the chances of him going on and get a big score for himself. This means that he can’t get a lot of fantasy points under his belt. In this contest, there is Sanju Samson, who is a wicketkeeper and has been batting extremely well this season. It is better to go and select him.

2. Mustafizur Rahman

Mustafizur Rahman is a really smart bowler with a bag full of tricks. This season his performances have been better than the last few times we saw him in the IPL. However, in the last few matches, he has gone for some runs and it seems that the batters are able to guess what he is actually bowling. Now, in this contest, there are players who have lesser credit scores than him but have better chances to pick wickets. The credit score saved in the bowler’s category can help you get a better all-rounder or a better batter. Hence, it won’t be a bad idea to avoid Mustafizur and go for a different bowler.

3. Nitish Rana

The left-handed batter has had a very up and down season so far. He started well at the top with a couple of fifties but then his form slipped down. As the UAE leg began, he was shifted back to the middle order, where he failed to get proper opportunities. Now, in two matches, Rana has scored 31 runs and 25 runs respectively. Yet, it is clear that the consistency is not there with him and he is also struggling to adjust to the pace of the wickets in the UAE. We also have to see that there are betters options as batters in this contest and it is better to go for them.
