IPL 2021: 3 players to avoid in your fantasy team for CSK vs MI match

1. MS Dhoni 

Since the 2019 World Cup semi-finals, Dhoni has featured in just 21 games of cricket. The lack of game time and practice had significantly affected his batting. This was evident during the entire IPL 2020 where he scored only 200 runs over 14 matches. Even in the IPL 2021’s first half, he made 37 runs in seven matches. Given his run of scores, it is better to avoid him in your fantasy team.

2. Hardik Pandya 

Hardik Pandya’s run of scores this year in T20 cricket hasn’t been that good. He has had an average of 14.80 with the bat after 11 innings. His strike rate hasn’t been too good either while his lack of contributions with the ball is also an issue. He had a poor run during the first half of the IPL 2021 as well and his form didn’t improve in the subsequent matches for India in Sri Lanka. With uncertainty over the number of overs he is gonna bowl, he seems like a risky pick.

3. Dwayne Bravo 

Dwayne Bravo has been an asset for Chennai Super Kings over the years. However, for quite a few years now, his role has been defined and he has been majorly playing as a bowler, who can tonk a few if required. 

However, it is unclear whether he would be bowling or not as he had not bowled in the last five matches of the Caribbean Premier League for his side St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. In that team, he batted up the order and played as a pure batter, but in this CSK line-up, he might not get the opportunity to do so. With this much amount of uncertainty, it is better to go for some other player.
