Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals will be facing each other in an IPL 2021 league match with the stakes being just too high. Both the teams still have a chance to qualify for the playoffs, having won five out of their 12 matches. But, now they face each other with the same goal. This match should be a high-intensity battle but it also presents fans with an opportunity to win some fantasy points.

Here are three players to avoid in fantasy teams for the RR vs MI game:

1. Hardik Pandya

The fact that Hardik Pandya is not bowling these days is not a secret anymore. Even though he has said that he will be back to bowling very soon, it is unlikely that he would be doing that in this tournament. That seems to be the reason why he has been listed in the batter category in most of the contests. With his contribution decreasing every year, it is better that you avoid him in your fantasy team. There are other batters who have more chances to score a sizable amount of runs which can help you fetch fantasy points.

2. Rahul Tewatia

Rahul Tewatia’s batting hasn’t been any good this season so far. Despite his up and down performances, Rajasthan Royals have stuck with him due to his all-rounder capabilities. However, his impact on some games has been quite less. In the last game, he did pick up three wickets, but that was his only bowling performance this year which was a bit memorable. Picking him can be a hit or a miss. Having said that, there are better all-rounders in this contest, like Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard who have a more consistent record and can be reliable.

3. Mayank Markande

Mayank Markande’s career has gone off-road after a brilliant start with the Mumbai Indians team. However, he got his first chance this season to come along and perform. In the last game, he bowled only three overs and managed to give away 26 runs in them. Going wicketless didn’t help his cause. Now, the thing about his leg-spin is that he can be a bit predictable. With the Mumbai team having a power-hitting combination, Markande might end up going for a lot of runs. There are other bowlers who have more chances to pick up wickets in this game.
