Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has put forth his predictions for Match No.40 of the Indian Premier League between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The SRH, led by Kane Williamson, are in dire straits, having lost eight of their nine games thus far in the tournament. In their previous game, they lost to Punjab Kings by five runs.

With their campaign in the doldrums, the Sunrisers will be looking to stage a comeback. For the upcoming match, Chopra reckoned that Rashid Khan would be the most economical bowler. Rashid has been the only bowler for SRH who has looked penetrative.

Aakash Chopra shares his opinions

“Rashid Khan to be the most economical bowler of the match,“ Chopra was quoted as saying on his official YouTube channel. The leg-spinner is also the leading wicket-taker of the tournament for the Orange Army.

Chopra said that SRH skipper Kane Williamson and the Royals’ captain Sanju Samson would score in excess of 60 runs together. “Kane and Samson to score 60 plus runs,“ he stated. In RR’s previous game against the Delhi Capitals, Samson scored 70, though it came in a losing cause. Williamson, on the other hand, has been a tad short of runs.

In the meantime, Chopra reckoned that the Royals would smash more sixes than the Sunrisers in the upcoming contest. “Rajasthan to hit more sixes,“ Chopra said.

Last, but not the least, Chopra predicted RR to come out trumps in their upcoming contest in Dubai. “Rajasthan to win the match,“ he added.

The Royals would be a tad low on confidence as they will be going into the game on the back of a 33-run loss at the hands of the Capitals at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Royals have a decent chance of reaching the playoffs from the current position they are in.

A win in their next game will take them from the sixth to the fourth position in the points table. In their previous meeting, the Royals beat the Sunrisers by a mammoth margin of 55 runs. Jos Buttler became the Player of the Match for his 64-ball 124 with 11 fours and eight sixes.
