The 46th Match of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between Delhi Capitals and the Mumbai Indians (MI). And, ahead of this blockbuster contest, Aakash Chopra has picked his ideal predicted playing XIs for both sides.
Chopra stated that Marcus Stoinis is a game-changer and if available, then the Aussie all-rounder should come into the Delhi Capitals’ playing XI and might replace Lalit Yadav. Chopra further stated that since Prithvi Shaw is not available, Steve Smith might get another game.
Chopra also opined that even though Amit Mishra might be at the back of the minds of the Delhi management, he might not get a game as the five bowling options for the Rishabh Pant led side pick themselves.

Aakash Chopra then went ahead and picked his ideal Mumbai Indians’ (MI) playing XI for this clash. The 43-year-old stated that he does not expect the Mumbai side to make any changes for this match. Chopra reckoned that Hardik Pandya has got some runs and Kieron Pollard is also in decent form.
The only possible change that Chopra feels that the Rohit Sharma-led side might think of is, replacing Krunal Pandya with Jayant Yadav, especially with a left-hander in Shikhar Dhawan opening the batting for the Delhi outfit.
The Delhi Capitals side is occupying second place in the IPL points table, and have won 8 out of their 11 encounters. On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians are stationed at the 6th spot, having won only 5 out of their 11 matches.
