‘Thalapathy’ Vijay and the world of cricket surely have an intimate connection. And, if you are wondering how, all you need to do is to count the number of cricketers who have danced to the song ‘Vaathi Coming’ from Vijay’s latest film, Master.

First, let us look at the list of cricketers who have already danced to the tune of this famous Tamil song. Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, and Hardik Pandya shook a leg to this song a few weeks back. Indian Women’s cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy then danced for this song as well.

The list does not end here. After this, the likes of Rashid Khan, David Warner, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar also danced for the song. And now, the latest addition to this list are the cricketers from the Delhi Capitals outfit.

Delhi Capitals’ cricketers completely enjoy themselves

The Delhi Capitals (DC) have uploaded a video where a number of cricketers could be seen dancing their hearts out for this song. The likes of Chris Woakes, Ravichandran Ashwin, Steve Smith, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, and Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant danced for the song from the film Master.

You can watch the Delhi Capitals’ players enjoying themselves in the video below.

The Delhi Capitals (DC) started their 2021 IPL campaign in stunning fashion by posting a victory against the mighty Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their opening encounter on 10th April 2021. Even though the Chennai side posted a total of 188 runs on the board, the Delhi Capitals chased down the target with relative ease. The likes of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan absolutely annihilated the Chennai bowling attack.

The Dhawan-Shaw duo put on an opening partnership of 138 runs off just 13.3 overs to tilt the match in favor of the Rishabh Pant-led side. While Shaw scored a blazing 38-ball 72, Dhawan scored a whirlwind 85 off just 54 deliveries as the Delhi side made light work of a target of 189.

The Delhi Capitals (DC) will play their second IPL match on 15th April 2021 against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) side in Mumbai.
