The much-awaited second leg of the Indian Premier League is all set to commence from September 19 in the UAE. In the first match, defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings. There is absolutely no doubt that fans garner the audacity of IPL. However, owing to the ongoing pandemic, the Indian leg of the IPL was played behind closed doors. The cheers of the fans were missed in the stadiums. Later, the tournament had to be paused as Covid hit the camps of few teams. A total of 29 games were played in the first half before the tournament was suspended.

But now what comes in as good news for all the cricket onlookers is that the fans and spectators can watch the action live from the stadiums. “CSK vs MI match will be a momentous occasion as IPL will welcome the fans back to the stadiums after a brief hiatus owing to the Covid-19 situation,” the BCCI had said in a statement.

There are two ways through which the fans can buy the tickets for the matches of IPL. One can head to the official website www.iplt20.com. It will direct you to the page wherein one needs to click on the ‘buy tickets option’, enter the required details and proceed to payment. Further, on completing the procedure one can download the pdf file.

Secondly, the fans can also purchase the tickets on PlatinumList.net. On the website, sign up using your Google account, enter your mobile number and the country code after which you will be redirected to the home page. After this, select the UAE city– Sharjah, Abu Dhabi or Dubai, search for IPL, choose the desired match, enter details and proceed to payment.
