The second half of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick start on 19th September 2021 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). And, the 2021 IPL season will resume with a blockbuster clash between the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.

Earlier, the participation of the England players was in doubt as England had a series against Bangladesh lined up. But now, England’s series against Bangladesh has been postponed, and all England players will be available to take part in the Indian T20 league.

However, the Rajasthan Royals might suffer a jolt ahead of the second half of the tournament as their star overseas recruit and England cricketer Jos Buttler might miss the tournament as he and his wife are expecting their baby during the month of September. Buttler had reportedly told Sky Sports regarding this.

Also, a Twitter user by the name of Johns tweeted about the unavailability of Jos Buttler as well. “Jos Buttler is unlikely to be available for the IPL 2021 as he & his wife are expecting a baby during September,” tweeted the user.
