The five times champion Mumbai Indians are not having a fine run in the current edition of the Indian Premier League. The franchise that always looked bright and perfect to win any game appears to be losing rhythm at the current moment. In their five matches played so far, MI have been able to win only two games. In their last game against PBKS, they again posted a below ordinary target and lost the game by nine wickets.

In the same turn of events, Mumbai’s star all-rounder Kieron Pollard has come up with a cryptic tweet that might point something. In MI’s last game, Pollard was seen backing too much while Mohammed Shami was bowling. It could have been the clear case of Mankading but it didn’t happen. However, fans and commentators noticed this act by Pollard and started bashing him right away on social media.

While Pollard tried to run few meters before the ball was being bowled, fans started criticizing him for not abiding with the spirit of cricket. A fan even pointed out that the other day Pollard was looking up to Mankad Shikhar Dhawan for the same act and is now doing the same thing himself. In the same line of events, Pollard has come up with a tweet that reads-

“Just Because I don’t react, doesn’t mean I didn’t notice.”

Pollard posted the picture with a caption, “got to love these individuals who suppose to be objective. Laughable at best.!”

Talking about MI’s last game in IPL 2021, while being put to bat first, they could only post 131 runs on the board. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav added essential runs with the bat but failed to gain any support from other batters. The target was so minimal that PBKS achieved the task by only losing their one wicket.

KL Rahul and Chris Gayle took the major responsibilities for the team and in turn, Mumbai’s bowling also turned to be very ordinary just like their batting show.
