Delhi Capitals (DC) notched their fourth win out of five matches in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). On Sunday, April 25, the team, led by Rishabh Pant, came out trumps against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after the match went down to the Super Over.

Both teams were locked on 159 after their mandatory 20 overs, but in the end, the Capitals held their nerve. After winning the toss and electing to bat, the DC put forth the competitive score. In the run-chase, Jonny Bairstow’s 18-ball 38 set the tone for the Orange Army.

Kane Williamson turned up with a valiant 51-ball 66 with eight fours, but his knock went in vain. With the loss, the Sunrisers went down to seventh in the table. As far as DC are concerned, they moved to the second spot in the table.

Here are the DC Player Ratings for the SRH vs DC match:

Prithvi Shaw- 9.5/10

Prithvi Shaw was the standout batter for the Capitals as he notched 53 runs off 39 balls with the help of seven fours and one six. His knock came to an end in the 12th over when he was unluckily run out.

Shikhar Dhawan- 7/10

Shikhar Dhawan scored 28 runs off 26 balls with the help of three fours. He was there in the middle until the 11th over. It was the wily leg-spinner in Rashid Khan, who rattled his woodwork and ended his stay.

Rishabh Pant- 8.5/10

Rishabh Pant played a handsome cameo of 37 runs off 27 balls with four fours and one six before Siddarth Kaul dismissed him. In the Super Over, he also reverse-swept Rashid for a four through third man.

Steve Smith- 8.5/10

Steve Smith played a handy knock of 34 runs off 25 balls. He stayed unbeaten until the very end and hit three fours and one six. The right-hander looked at ease, playing at a decent strike rate of 136.

Shimron Hetmyer- 1/10

Shimron Hetmyer came to bat in the 19th over and hence, he didn’t get to do a lot. In a quest to up the ante, he got out to Siddarth Kaul. He tried to go downtown but holed out to Kane Williamson.

Marcus Stoinis- 3/10

Marcus Stoinis didn’t have much to do with the bat in hand. With the ball in hand, he bowled a solitary over and he gave away 12 runs. The medium-pacer was smashed for a four and six each.

Axar Patel- 9.5/10

Axar Patel picked up the wickets of Rashid Khan and Axar Patel in the mandatory 20 overs. In four overs, he gave only 26 runs. In the Super Over, he only conceded eight runs, including a four from Williamson.

Ravi Ashwin- 7/10

Ravi Ashwin didn’t pick up a wicket, but he made sure of restricting the batters to the best of his ability. In four overs, Ashwin gave away only 27 runs and also churned out as many as 12 dot balls.

Kagiso Rabada- 6/10

Kagiso Rabada didn’t have a great outing with the ball. After two decent overs, he leaked 15 runs in his third. Even as Williamson ramped him for a four, Jagadeesha Suchith smashed him for a massive six.

Avesh Khan- 9.5/10

Avesh Khan was excellent with the ball in hand. The speedster prized out the wicket of Jonny Bairstow and also went on to dismiss Virat Singh and Vijay Shankar. In four overs, he gave 34 runs.

Amit Mishra- 7/10
