Preview

Delhi Capitals are set to lock horns with Chennai Super Kings in Match No.50 of the 2021 Indian Premier League on Monday, October 4 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. The Capitals and the Super Kings have already made their way through to the playoffs of this IPL.

The Super Kings, however, are sitting on top of the points table with a healthy net run rate. Another win will mean that they would play the Qualifier 1 irrespective of the result of their last two matches of the IPL. When the Capitals and CSK met in India earlier this year, it was DC, who came out trumps.

In their previous game, the Super Kings lost to the Rajasthan Royals despite a century from Ruturaj Gaikwad. The Capitals, on the other hand, will go into the game after beating the Mumbai Indians by four wickets in Sharjah. Rishabh Pant and Co. will also be looking to garner their 10th win this season.
