IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals' players share special messages and wishes for Jos Buttler on his 31st birthday

England cricketer and Rajasthan Royals’ mainstay Jos Buttler is celebrating his 31st birthday today. And, several of Buttler’s teammates from the Rajasthan Royals (RR) side wished the England cricketer on this special occasion.

In a video that has been released by the official Twitter handle of the Rajasthan Royals side, the players, as well as the support staff of the Rajasthan outfit, are seen speaking about Buttler. Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson stated that Buttler is very calm and humble, while Rahul Tewatia opined that Buttler is a great family man.

Buttler was blessed with a child a few days ago, and the Rajasthan players also congratulated the wicketkeeper-batsman for the same as well. Buttler’s England teammate Jofra Archer also wished Buttler on his birthday as well. The Rajasthan Royals also added clippings of Buttler playing with his first child, spending time with his wife, as well as some of the funny moments from Buttler’s stint with the Rajasthan Royals.

Jos Buttler has been an integral part of the Rajasthan Royals outfit in the IPL

Jos Buttler boasts of an excellent record in IPL cricket. The 31-year-old has played 65 matches in the IPL and has plundered close to 2000 runs at a strike rate of 150. Buttler has also scored a hundred and 11 fifties in the tournament as well.

Buttler showcased his class on 2nd May 2021, when he smashed a whirlwind 124 off 64 deliveries against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) side. His rollicking knock helped the ‘Men in Pink’ to pulverize their opposition by 55 runs.

Buttler has also featured in 53 Tests, 148 ODIs, and 82 T20Is for the England side at the international level. While he has scored close to 3000 Test runs at an average of 33.33, the big-hitting batsman has also amassed 3872 runs in 148 ODI matches as well. In the T20I format of the game, Buttler has plundered 1871 runs at an average of 31.71. He has scored a total of 11 centuries in international cricket.
