The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side will play their first match of the 2021 IPL edition on 10th April 2021 against the Delhi Capitals (DC) side in Mumbai. The side had a disastrous campaign in the 2020 IPL season that was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) last year and finished at the 7th position in the points table.

The Chennai side could manage to win only 6 out of the 14 matches that they played in the IPL last year. And, ahead of the 2021 edition of the IPL, the fitness of their star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is of paramount importance to the franchise.

Jadeja had dislocated his left thumb in the series against Australia, and could not even take part in a single match in the subsequent series that India played against England. But now, there is some good news that is coming the way of the Chennai side. A source has confirmed that Jadeja has been batting and bowling in the nets and will definitely be a part of the playing XI for Chennai.

“He batted and bowled in the nets and looked pretty good at that. He will definitely be part of the playing XI,” stated the source as quoted by Times of India.
