Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is having a dream run in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise is sitting at the top of the IPL points table after winning their first two league games at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In the season opener, RCB outplayed the defending champions Mumbai Indians by two wickets while they also emerged victorious against Sunrisers Hyderabad by six runs.
After two intense games, RCB team management decided to give a much-needed break to the players. The franchise hosted some fun-filled activities in the team room to help the cricketers relieve their stress and bond better with each other.
For the activity, the entire squad was divided into three teams comprising seven players, led by skipper Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Yuzvendra Chahal respectively. The teams were asked to enact the scripts provided to them and they were judged by a panel of three people which also included Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma.
The contest started with De Villiers’ side enacting the ‘Cinderella’ story. De Villiers acted as the narrator while the rest of the members performed the act. The second team to perform was Virat Kohli’s and they were asked to act on “The Ugly Duckling”. The last team to perform was Chahal’s team and they acted in the fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”. From the leg-spinner’s side, the man who stole all the thunder with his brilliant acting was Australia’s celebrated all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

Both Yuzvendra and Maxwell were at their goofy best throughout the act as they entertained the other players and members present in the room to the fullest. The skipper Virat Kohli found the act so hilarious that he was rolling on the floor while laughing hard.
In the end, the results were announced and Virat Kohli & Men were declared as the winners. Meanwhile, Maxwell received the title of the Best Actor with his some goodies and gifts. The video of the light-hearted activity was uploaded on Twitter by the official Twitter handle of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
“Team Bonding done right! We got our cricketers to perform famous plays from their childhood days. They were absolutely brilliant and hilarious too,” the franchise wrote while posting the video
