In the 15th match of the IPL 2022 season, Delhi Capitals will face KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants. The match will be played on Tuesday 7th April in Navi Mumbai’s D.Y.Patil stadium. The Lucknow-based franchise has won two out of three games this season. After losing to Gujarat Titans, they have made a strong comeback by defeating Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Delhi Capitals have had a mixed start to their IPL 2022 season. They defeated Mumbai Indians in their first match of the season, thanks to Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav’s partnership. But their chase against Gujarat was halted by some excellent bowling and poor batting display by the Capitals. The Capitals will be playing on this ground for the first time this season whereas the Super Giants have already played here against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In this article, we will cover-

3 changes Delhi Capitals need to make against LSG

Delhi Capitals will be handed a big boost with the availability of both their star players in David Warner and Anrich Nortje. Warner is making a comeback in Delhi colors having played for them from season 2009 to 2013. Tim Seifert had shown decent form in the first match but failed to deliver in his second outing. This will make Warner’s selection a lot easier alongside Prithvi Shaw.

On the other hand, Anrich Nortje is one of their key players. He was retained before the auction along with Prithvi Shaw, Axar Patel, and Rishabh Pant. Nortje’s selection has always been a no-brainer considering his wicket-taking abilities. The South-African pacer has taken 34 wickets in his last two seasons for Delhi.

Warner was purchased for ₹6.25 Cr in the auction held in February this year. He will add much-needed experience to the side. The opener can be pivotal in nurturing Prithvi Shaw, as Sehwag did to him back in Delhi Daredevils. The duo can be deadly at the top and can give any bowling attack nightmares.
