Siddarth Kaul was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the mega auction for IPL 2022 earlier this year as he could only scalp only seven wickets in eight matches last season. In the mega auction, the 32-year-old pacer was bought by RCB for his base price of INR 75 lakh. But he got to play only one match, a must-win encounter, against Gujarat Titans in their last league game.

Kaul conceded 43 runs in his quota of four overs and went wicketless in that game. So, he might have to go to the auction again next year. As per the bowling combination of RCB, Kaul couldn&#8217;t find a regular place as the management was already going with the likes of Josh Hazlewood, <strong><a href="https://www.crictracker.com/mohammed-siraj-lost-a-bit-of-confidence-but-will-come-back-strong-mike-hesson/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mohammed Siraj</a></strong>, and Harshal Patel in their pace attack.
