Chris Jordan is a much more popular name in many T20 leagues. In IPL 2022, the cricketer has now started a new chapter with the iconic Chennai franchise. Mainly as a backup of DJ Bravo, Jordan was signed for INR 3.6 crore in the 2022 auction. However, with injuries surrounding CSK bowlers, Jordan has become one of the mainstays in the bowling attack.

But the 33-year-old has been mediocre with his primary skill. In his four appearances, the pacer has just scalped two wickets that too at a poor economy. So far Jordan’s economy of 10.5 is almost at par with what the run rate is in the death overs of IPL 2022 (11.5).

Though the Englishman is regarded as a death-over specialist, his IPL career economy stands above nine. Maybe, the CSK management could have bid extra for their old spearheads like Josh Hazlewood rather than settling with Jordan’s ambiguous bowling.
