Glenn Maxwell and his long-time girlfriend Vini Raman got hitched on March 19 this year after having dated each other for three years. The duo then had a big fat Indian wedding on the 27th of the very same month in traditional Tamil style. Lately, Maxwell’s IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore also celebrated their wedding inside their team bio-bubble in Mumbai.

While all the members of the RCB were present for the occasion including the likes of Virat Kohli, skipper Faf du Plessis, Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj, Director of Cricket Operations Mike Hesson to name a few, it was one of Finn Allen’s image that has stood out from the rest.

In a post by Finn Allen on his official Instagram handle, he could be seen laughing while holding the microphone during the function, while both the bride as well as stand-up comedian Danish Sait are having a hearty laugh. He captioned the post as “Water boy by day, sub par comedian by night.”

Allen was roped in by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a sum of INR 80 lakh at the IPL 2022 mega auction. He had a base price of INR 50 lakh.

The New Zealand batter is yet to make his debut in the IPL and has been warming the bench so far this season. However, with RCB having lost three consecutive matches in a week, it would be interesting to see whether the team management would be keen to rope him in the playing XI going forward or will they continue to play the same combination.

After a six-wicket defeat against the table-toppers Gujarat Titans, the Bengaluru-based franchise would be hoping to make a comeback in their next encounter against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on May 4.
