Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals will be facing each other in the 47th match of IPL 2022, to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Last season, KKR emerged as the runners up while RR finished seventh in the points table. So far this season, RR has won six and lost three while KKR has the opposite record by winning three and losing six. KKR is currently on a streak of five losses in a row.

The openers have been highly inconsistent for KKR this season. Shreyas Iyer has been their only consistent player at the top of the order. Andre Russell once set, has always been in a destructive mode. Umesh Yadav and Tim Southee have been the team’s best bowlers this season.

In the last match, Rajasthan Royals who are having a great season suffered a shock defeat against Mumbai Indians. They have both the Orange Cap Jos Buttler and Purple Cap Yuzvendra Chahal who are in the top spot for quite a while now. Their captain Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer have also scored a lot of runs for the team, and at a quick rate. Rajasthan Royals have had valuable bowling contributions from R Ashwin, Trent Boult, and Kuldeep Sen, apart from Chahal.
