Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals will be facing each other in the 58th match of IPL 2022, to be played at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. During the previous season, Delhi Capitals finished third, while Rajasthan Royals finished seventh. So far in this IPL season, RR has won seven matches and lost four, while DC has won five matches and lost six. RR have won once and lost twice at DY Patil Stadium this season, while DC have lost both their matches. When the teams faced each other earlier in the season, Rajasthan Royals were victorious, winning a high-scoring match by 15 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal returning to the team after a month had scored a 41-ball 68 last match. His opening partner Jos Buttler is right at the top of the Orange Cap race, with 618 runs this season. Their captain Sanju Samson as well as Shimron Hetmyer were brilliant so far. Along with the Orange Cap, RR also has the Purple Cap leader in Yuzvendra Chahal. R Ashwin and Prasidh Krishna have also bowled well for the team.

David Warner continues to prove that he is one of the best batters in the league, despite a change in the franchise. Their captain Rishabh Pant has been playing some useful cameos with a high strike rate, though he never reached a fifty this season. Rovman Powell was also impressive, further lower in the batting order. Kuldeep Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed have been the top bowlers for the team.
