IPL 2022: MS Dhoni tries hands at shooting and tennis ahead of mega auction

Indian Legendary cricketer MS Dhoni was recently spotted on Instagram playing different games like Shooting and Tennis ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. With just three more days to go for the mega event, all eyes will be on the players who will be picked up by the defending champions Chennai Super Kings as Dhoni will have a huge influence on it. The 40-year-old was retained by the franchise for 12 Crores ahead of the mega auction and he has been one of the key factors for the franchise’s success.

This is not the first time that Dhoni has been identified playing other games, as he started his career as a football goalkeeper and eventually transformed into a wicketkeeper batter. He is one of the sharpest minds going in the game and is popularly named the captain cool for having a calm head in pressure situations. The unbeaten 91 in the finals of the 2011 World Cup is a testimony of his huge pressure-absorbing skills.

The fans could not stop their excitement as they sent out their love in the comments section. The former World Cup-winning captain is a constant feature in the Indian army as well and likes to spend a lot of time with them.

Meanwhile, the Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings side has retained Ravindra Jadeja(16 Crores), Ruturaj Gaikwad(6 Crores), and Moeen Ali(8 Crores). The mega auction will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13 and over the years, CSK has been made some excellent choices in picking players. However, they will not have the luxury of RTM cards and will have to pay a lot more if they have to bring back the core of the side that includes players like Faf Du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, and more.
