Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant taught Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, and Axar Patel how to do Bhangra as the players start their shoot processions for an upcoming video. The three players were seen learning some new steps from their skipper.

While Pant took the task very casually, Axar struggled to do the Bhangra. In a video shared by the Delhi-based franchise, there’s a voice from behind the cameras that asks the players to start doing Bhangra and Axar reacts by saying “Bhangra aana to chahiye na! (I should know how to do Bhangra to do it!)”.

Rishabh Pant took the lead as he said “Dono haath upar, bohot tagdam karne ki zarurat nahi hai aise bhi karega to chalega (Put both your hands up in the air and no need to complicate it, you can just do like this and make to work),” and the players start dancing around.

The boys are surely having fun off the field, but they have not had the best of time on the field in the past few days. DC have lost two out of the last three games, and their recent encounter against the Rajasthan Royals was no less than a nightmare.

Pant’s actions during the game landed him in trouble as he was charged 100% of his match fee over a controversial no-ball decision. He further sent Pravin Amre on the field to argue with the umpires, and Amre landed up facing a one-match ban.

Rajasthan Royals had put up a target of 223 runs for Delhi Capitals. Rovman Powell got them close to a victory in the last over when he smashed Obed McCoy for three back-to-back sixes, but the all-rounder lost his touch after the match was paused due to the no-ball controversy.

Powell was unable to strike on the remaining balls and ended up losing his wicket as RR won the cut-throat competition. DC will next face Kolkata Knight Riders in the 41st game of the IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 28, 2022.
