The difficulty of the catch was escalating higher as three fielders were charging in from different directions – Ajinkya Rahane from the long-on area and Andre Russell off his own bowling. Southee, however, never looked like he was in a spot of bother and a calm head was one of the key factors while completing the catch. No wonder, he fields in the slips for the Kiwis in the Tests and his safe hands had served him well so far.
