The home skipper said he was also looking to bowl first and was quite happy with Virat deciding to bat first. Suresh Raina said: “We would have bowled first. When you play against Kohli, you have to bat second. Instead of Dale Steyn, Smith is playing. Jakati is also coming in. Hopefully, we can bowl well and chase later on.”

RCB skipper finally won the toss and had a decision to make. Virat Kohli said: “Yes, I finally have won a toss. The track looks hard and we back our 3 spinners. We needed (to show) more composure when we lost those 2 games. The bowling unit is looking more confident. We have added another spinner. Back the team to defend. The leggie (Chahal) coming in for Patel. Jadhav to play instead of KL Rahul.”
